Worst experience ever.. they do mentally torture to their employee and lot of work pressure and dirty politics of middle management also salary is too low and work is too much and managers are too diplomatic

Low compensation, no work life balance, too much work for little bit salary.. senior manager do the same work and and diploma passout do the same work .. no management

This company is better in power distribution & transmission. It is future leading company & I feel proud that I am part of this company. I learnt a lot of about electrical engineering which is helpful for my career growth. Once again I thank to Tata power DDL.

Salary increasing is low . Work pressure is high sometimes I have to work 12- 14 hours

They have many employee benefit policy like longer maternity leaves, flexible work hours after maternity, employees benevolent fund, etc. Work life balance is also good.

Dislikes

No mentor for your job specific role. Very less pay and increments. Lot of favouritism and politics. Incompetent workers being down motivation. Promotions are the worst, there is a waiting of minimum 3 yrs in a specific role to apply for a promotion, which is then followed by interviews and then you get a minimal increment on that. Annual bonus structure is horrible.

I like the work-life culture and security of job till now.

Dislikes

Salary at supervisor, executive and middle management level is low. Rating and performance appraisal is biased and is dependent on God, you are not rated on the basis of your work, talent and efforts. I will not suggest anyone to start their career with Tata Power-DDL. It will choke all your dreams and desires.

Best place for learning purposes, if you are good at buttering your boss, u can go even upto CEO post.

Less salary, minimum manpower, maximum work load, office politics in appraisal rating, nonuniform distribution of work
