Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

The company is open to Learning and I love the fact that I am part of the team that makes high quality products and has a good client base. As a result, I get to travel to Chennai. we work happily in collaboration with Japan company having colleagues from various backgrounds. I like the employee rehire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. I do receive appreciation mails from the seniors as well client. Managers do not value the individual unique strengths,which is why I take back my suggestions sometimes. I just go unnoticed during my appraisal for the actual work did for the company.
