...s of Taj . Entire hotel staff has been sent on indefinite sabbatical leave . There are issues like payment of rent , food & other basic necessities which people are facing . It has left people without any options . It would have been great if IHCL would have intervened & helped there employees with a basic pay at least so that they can survive . These are very difficult times indeed for all but we need to understand that the people who are sitting at home now , have been & will be a asset once things are normal again. I am young boy who has always believed & seen that TATA'S have always come to the rescue of the society whenever there has been a difficult situation. I just hope people are helped in some way , so that they can survive this through. We will come back stronger. Thank You!

*Taj needs to evolve there working culture along with the time . Things are same as it use to be like many years back. *Young people need to be trusted for leadership roles . *Career growth is very slow . *Differentiation done between IHCL employees & Owner based properties should stop & everybody should enjoy same benefits & rules . *We need to high tech our guest experience with the use of digitalisation . *We need to have more staff engagement activities to keep everybody pumped up. * Salaries compared to other brands are on slightly lower side.

I was informed On 26 May by call that your salary will stop coming from 1st of June. They are not supporting at all. even, I was sent a letter mentioning that my contract of employment is temporarily suspended from 1st June and may be terminated. The hotel management says they are struggling to provide salary. On the other hand, employees of other Taj hotels (IHCL hotels) are getting full pay and some of the taj hotels are providing salary with some deduction but me and my colleagues are not getting salary from 1st of June. I want my name not to be disclosed Because it might risk my job.

...al to the company but this is the time for company to be loyal to the employees. They should provide at least 50% salary so that employee can survive.

Nothing to like about this company. Worst company to work for. Women are not safe in this company in Taj lands there were camras found in the ladies washroom and the hr department was begging us to not file a police complaint against them to same their brand image.

...afe here then what's the use of this company, why such a big name a hollow name. Other than this long working hours with no extra pay. Less salary more work, no training just you are put to work straight away.

My team was the most inspiration for me throughout my working career at The Gateway Taj and The staff was also very supportive we used to have a small party at a fix location for the Best performance of the Staff. That was the best thing for me because we used be more friendly rather than being a staff. I learnt a lot of things from Gateway as it was a new property at Hubli. I went through IDS software I am much more perfect in using the software I learnt about how to handle the Guest softly in all the situations. Comming to my work I believe that I am much more perfect to be a receptionist and I see my self as a FOM after 3 years from now.

... to not be a part of the team for a long period of time was the payment process. They use to make the payments very slow they used to delay a month to issue the salary of previous month. I am earning and even i am struggling to look after my family and even i need to look after the loans which I took according to our necessity. So it was hard for me to continue my team work with the esteem so I decided to move onn with Some other company who really value their staff. Thanks for the love and support provided by the company I say in the end 😊

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.
