Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Worst comapny i have ever worked. It's consultancy only representing themselves as ITES Service company. No joining policies, no training or induction, no clear leave policy. Management changes policies every month, not timing limit. They are trapping candidates by false promises for contractual position and after contract finish they will immediately without notice period, even they not bother to deduct salary. They promised to provide you direct client payroll but it will never happen. Stay away from this company. There will be no communication from management or seniors anytime, they just you to work like donkey for them.
