I did take the job only because of the awesome cofounder Pragati who took my interview. She was so nice to work with, learned a lot from her.Director decided the salary which was minimal ,work hours was fixed but flexible.

Dislikes

The founder has no experience leading and is the only decision maker and it's really difficult to work with monopoly. the salary offered is very much less than advertised which is a kind of scamming. your ideas are not welcomed so don't expect growth. Work burns you out ,still no appreciation will be given,no vacation or parties from company, just work . Few people involved in politics with the leader who would suck up and be treated better even if you are more senior and work harder. There is no job security at all,can be fired any day without without notice. There is general lack of vision and good strategy especially after Pragati left. So many good employees left due to immature/shrewed leadership. Management aka the founder is inexperienced in pretty much every part of management such as hiring,payroll, employees welfare,clear professional view and honorable treatment of employees. Since there are no policies or mature leadership, the founder has favourites (who butter up ) and will favor them /override decisions for them irrespective of your position in company which is very humiliating. There is casual sexism, lack of equality and women leadership opportunity and initiative. 'The boss is always right ' culture. No insurance nothing on top of that inexperienced founder will lay his unreal expectations on you ,which he will expect you to fulfill on minimum budget and would harass you through WhatsApp until you agree. This has been my worst experience working with any leader. I was messaged throughout weekends to work in areas which is not my domain ,specified or suited my position and when I arrived in office ,I was called to meet where I was asked to explain my WhatsApp replies and why didn't I reply as soon as I saw the messages. It was tormenting for me ,I left pretty soon.
