The director comes from a very unprofessional background. Their financials are ill managed. Company has got no work ethics and is rated very low on work culture

Dislikes

Not remitted PF amount for last one year. Not paid the salary for last four months. Nought per the travel expenses. Highly arrogant and Stands as a good example for “how not to be.”They have not paid the vendors nor they Have any customer who is satisfied with their products and services. Entire work force has resigned in February because of one single director.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
