New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Appraisals is not as per industry standard and salary disbursement happens by 7th of every month which may get delayed to additional 4-5 days too.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisal are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

...ation I have ever seen in my 26 years of service life. No one should work there. Worst HR, worst Finance team, doesn't pay salary on time. Everything is worst. Even Road side companies work culture and performance is much better than Sterling and Wilson. For claiming my Finance settlement I had to write almost 50 mails and made more than 1000 calls and I got only 2 or 3 responces. I received my final settlement after 11 months. A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

its a No 1 Solar EPC company and well reputation in international market.

... S&W Solar had terminates my Employment Contract in between the project phase. Also company settled my final settlement up to 30th Sept 2020 with deduction in Salary 20% per month. that was not written in my FTP contracts I was on road from 1st of Oct to 15th Of Oct 20220. I paid personally for my lodging and others charges for 15days additional stay in KSA, Air ticket to home country etc. There is no job security at all …............ no support from Head office. only company Policy is favorable and supporting for their permanent Employees. For the project execution, very slow decision, slow process in each line items of phases etc.
