Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I like the relationship between my last immediate boss of which he always encourage me and guide me in all working situation.

Dislikes

I don't like the Polytechnic because it does not encourage you to know about the instruction, don't pay attention to how well is the employee, don't pay encouraging salary, don't encourage career growth, don't have any security at job.
