Nothing as such. Till training they will behave like Tulsi and parvati and then after you'll be able to see their real face. The most humble and understandable person in the entire floor is Mr Atul Shahji. He's a SME And it seems that he has good knowledge of the process. Apart from him, every SME is not Properly educated.

...e completely mannerless. They don't have the manners to speak to the colleagues. They got promoted, they have their own houses in the city and they have a decent package and they think that they are the king. I doubt if they will be able to survive in the working culture of Metro cities like Pune, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. They will be kicked from the management or from their fellow employees or even from their associates if they behave or speak on the same tone like they do here in Lucknow. *The WFM guys don't know how to speak. They keep on shouting. If there is a long call, the customer is not ending, what will the associate do? *TLs are always busy at their desk. They don't even bother what issue their associate is facing. If there is a Dsat, congratulations!!! You'll be famous in the entire floor. Don't have the manners to speak. Think of themselves as Gunda(Only faiz and Tanmay khare knows a lil bit on how to give respect). *Ams - They are busy into their own as the client is roaming around. * Client- Mr NetraBahadur Lohar - He's always roaming in the floor, He's from Bengaluru, I thought he must be knowing the corporate culture, But he is the same. *SME- They themselves don't know the process, everything they ask here and there and then say - Refer to Yoda and share whatever they feel like. They think that they are now SME, they will deal with the associate anyway they want. Always keep following Girls and busy on phone. *Attrition - This hardly bothers STARTEK. They are into Fire n Hire policy. Everyday interviews going on, still call flow is exceptionally high. They don't know how to retain. I've myself heard an AM (Riku Pal) saying.. " Jati hai to jane do. 1 jaegi utne paise me 2 aaenge, apna appraisal nai rukna chahiye" to her Fellow Manager. Guys to watch out for: Yash Katare (TL) - He don't care, Don't have manners. Good Human being. Will do 100 good things, but 1 Bad thing will wash off everything. Deepak Yadav(SME) - Very proudy. No help outside process. Don't even talk properly. Alok Singh(Manager) - Very arrogant. WFM guys - Everytime Shouting Mohammad Saad (He's very Blunt, But helpful too) Mahesh(HR Dept) - Will find mistake in everything. My only suggestion: Better open a Paan Masala shop but refrain working in Startek. Join HCL in Lucknow, shift to Metro cities but don't work in Startek. Especially STARTEK LUCKNOW

People here with a friendly bonding, Punctuality of paying salaries to emoyees.

Dislikes

... even though the employees worked a bit extra than their designated login hours. And somehow showing deficit hours or shortage in login hours and deduction of salary of employees based on those wrong reports. This was the worse thing. And as well their deduction process at the times of FNF (Full and Final Settlement) post resignation. Its simple, they pay the least as compared to other companies of this sector, and still have a lot of wrong excuses to be deducting agent's salaries just to pay lesser than whatever less they pay. No specific ways of promotion towards a designation, preferences are given to the personal choices and not based on work ability and efficiency. Even at the time of recruitment they had mentioned they would provide atleast pick or drop, any one side trip but did not provide any. Employees out here are nothint but Labours as per aegis rules and regulations.

Without an ijp, your salary would not increase whether you worked for three, two, or one year. Ijp is also a gimmick, and favouritism is present.

In startek if you are living in lucknow so that startek is better job opportunity in BPO sector. Startek hiring process it very fast. Also he gives the training before you working any process. The training period is paid. After completed the training period then you will come to operation. All supervisors all very supportive and good nature.

In my opinion there is no hike and appraisal on tenurtity basic in same process. Only promotion level increase a salary.
