Driving cultural change is really difficult. Peers who have been in the organisation consider themselves as Kings & Queens. Petty politics at times

They pay relatively well. If the unit head is good, then you have a good chance of growth both in terms of benefits and promotions. They encourage talent usually.

Dislikes

The general culture in the company is that of a well run operations unit, flexibility is generally not encouraged - you login on time, stay online and logout late after delivering everything. They don't like to hear feedback from employees when they aren't comfortable with their managers. I didn't receive a single recognition or even a year end hike while I was there and Covid was blamed conveniently leaving the fact that my team mate got a hike. I won't blame the entire organization, it's just my rotten luck i got stuck with an insufferable manager.

I have associated with scb as business analyst for payments domain for 18 months in building a new payment system and i would say this is one of the best company to learn the entire payment module as people are seasoned in payments domain. Coming to the aspect of job security I don't think any organisation which would be as safe as this one.

Dislikes

...el will not support for latest initiates provided by the new member of the team. I personally salary was not on par with industry.

SCOPE office was very close to my home. And it is an International banking brand. Salary is decent on par with other banking captives in Chennai.

Dislikes

Tamil brahmin politics. They do not let anyone else survive or thrive. There is very little scope for investment banking BA profiles.

No hike. No recognition.. lots of partiality about staffs... If u highlight anything respective employee will b targetted and will b punished either by not giving hike or by putting them under PIP... Have undergone much and not voicing out anything to keep myself safe...
