Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

Nothings is liked about the company.

There is always fluctuating decisions from management. Any kind of certain rule comes as per their convenience. In the name of increment they give 3-4% on CTC. There is no work like balance at all. Suddenly they said you will have to come on Sunday without prior information, and if you do not come they will grab you in some other stuff. Top level management is wrost. Company doesn't t value people at all. Top level peoples always use bad slangs towards their employees. They made a rule to come before 9 otherwise it will be your half day but there is no out time fixed. As per work they will force you to stay long. Sometimes we worked whole night as well, that means we came in the morning 9 AM and we go at home at next early morning 4AM. At the time of Interview they told different role and actually work is the way different.. Their is no value of engineer at all.
