It was a great learning experience. You learn about methodologies of audit, industry knowledge. If you want to expand your work knowledge then it's a place for you.

Dislikes

Compensation is not satisfactory. Increment is not upto to the mark. Work life balance is mostly Nil.

IIC Assurance practice: Focus on Quality Leading to Development of Working Professionals. Daily Interactions with MNC clients leading to rich networking.

Dislikes

Work Hours could be terrible on a consistent basis. Like a shift of 10 to 16 hours on a regular basis. Manager's expectations to work beyond 7.00pm or on Saturdays is of common knowledge. At some points people became uncertain whether we can take leave on Saturdays. In peak period regular working on all 7 days like 3 weeks in a row. Although no benefits for working on Saturdays and Sundays.

Other departments might be much better but not assurance.

Dislikes

Forced rules, mismanagement, dictatorship by people in authority, no sense of understanding regarding work-life balance. Worst of all, promotion interviews are scam and so fake, suck ups get them easily but who quietly work and focus on performance are asked to leave within seconds.

Though the rush of getting workdone never ends yet the people you work with make you feel home and also help you get through it. From interns to partners, everyone is approachable and helpful.

Dislikes

Expectations of people rises with successful completion of every engagement which makes it difficult to cop up everytime.
