The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. Work life balance is good.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow.Managers do not value an individuals's unique strengths which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client but they mostly go unnoticed during my appraisals. also there is no on job training for freshers hence senior folks like me have to guide them step by step without affecting my target which is a pain sometime. No facilities are provided for travelling phone or meetings

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
