Multiple responsibilities, good bosses, homely feeling, timely payment to contractors as well as employee salary.

Dislikes

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive. Management is also good. I have no idea about company policies.

Dislikes

...ucational qualifications not for their personal relationship with their bosses..If a employee has good personal relationship with his Boss without know nothing (also has no qualification) he will get much more salary than a knowledgeable person... Salary & career growth is not good..

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
