...rovided by seniors. Anyone can learn easily if they want to learn something new. Salary hike is good at joining time. Environment is positive and healthy. Timings are flexible. Till today we are working from home which is good.

Dislikes

Appraisal will be slightly not satisfied. Also first Saturday is working which is quite undigested for an IT employee. Sometimes management seems like poor in terms of taking decisions. Company has started their office from July 2020 when COVID situation is not good. Which is not quite good decision from management. But may there can be some reasons to do so. But after August we are working from home till 15th March.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
