Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing. It was a worst experience.

Dislikes

During interviews they promise so and so salary hikes but they do not give salaries. I had so many peers who were working there earlier suggested me to quit. Not a place to join and infact its not even a company. Its sole proprietorship running by a greedy proprietor.

No salary security. Management team very bad. They never stand with own words.they can change anytime statement.
