Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

If you work on site you have many opportunity to skill development. But if you work in head office you have limited opportunity to learn new thinks But in HO very less career growth option.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. Everything is repeated in the project. The work pressure is very high. Sometime, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day.

It's the superb company interms of salary and work exposure. It's the only company for civil engineers which will pay you overtime work allowance at site after 6 pm , where all other MNC companies fails to pay you the overtime allowance.
