Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Very bed work culture in smc finance. Spoil carrier, hold salary, bond sign, they torcher to employees, I left smc finance April 2024 they hold my fnf reliving, I resigned then I left smc finance but they ask me to submit 5 lac rupess for recovery. Never join

...th competition. CTO and team from Byjus just flatter directors and life goes on. No innovation, no empathy for product and tech, no salary hikes/appraisals because they don’t deliver anything. People here enjoy to make work difficult for others across team and gossip about failures of others. The list can go on and on as spending 8-9 hours a day over here were equivalent to being in hell.
