No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

They will choose whoever is close to them and who doesn't question them. salary - been there for how many years but salary appraisal depends on how close you are to your coach or team leader not because of your score cards. travel - team buildings are always paid by the employees. politics - worst work life balance - I regret that I entered the company. I loved my job too much that i didn't have time to take care of my son and was not able to attend major family gathering because my leave was not approved most of the time.

Salary wise, sitel gives the lowest salary of all the call center company here in our city. Career growth is poor. no work balance. Sitel company policy is good but the manager which make it worst.

Worst company ever. The processes gets rammed down. No job security. The people in the higher management are the worst, they treat agents like cockroaches. Something to just get rid of. In order to have a leave you need to either be on the death bed or send in your resignation, they've called people in office with corona and i worked in typhoid, So many unfair practices, doesn't matter how many leaves you've got left it really doesn't matter they won't give you, if in emergency situations you take leaves, they issue a warning letter for leaves. I got 2 warning letters for 2 leaves because i had a death in the family. people in the higher management are so insensitive and cruel they don't care at all they just care about their work getting done. If anyone is in their sane mind, should not join this corporation
