Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

...tes are supportive. There is a huge cafeteria and surrounding area for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Compensation is very poor. The work pressure is very high, Some times i have to work 18-20 Hours. Managers do not value an individual unique strength. I don't receive any appreciation e mail from my office. There is no job security. Managers does not recognize the employees effort. There is no support from management for employee issues.

I love the company as I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high- quality products ans has a global client base. as a result, i get to travel abroad. but on site travel is completely dependent on project and clients location.another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.
