SIBCA has an amazing brand value and a strong market presence in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) as a leader and service provider in Life Safety Systems such as Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems (e.g. Fire Alarm, Building Management System (BMS), Lighting Control, Central Battery, Room Automation, Audio Visual, etc.). The work environment is friendly and homely and this is a great place to learn about new technologies in the safety and security industry, provided you are self-motivated and willing to learn. Office culture is multicultural, but is better suited to expatriates hailing from the Indian subcontinent, as a majority of the workforce fits this demographic. Almost everyone gets a promotion 'on-paper', being given a 'senior' status every year or two, of the position that they hold, backed by a bonus/commission and return airfare. Salaries are always paid on time. This company is looking forward to expanding greatly and has a headcount of more than 650 employees, as of late 2017.

...praisal process is a joke and only the best-of the-best get any financial gains. Expect a salary of your desire only if you are a new-hire, otherwise the salary increment after your appraisal is pathetic (even a score 4.0 out of 5.0). Reimbursements of costs can take up to 3 months, after submission. Always expect to take your work home with you, even if you're on vacation, as you will need to 'man-your-post' at all times; Why? A double-edged sword answer: When you're away, if the company sees that your replacement seems to do a better job, don't expect your post to be there when you return, cos no one needed you! On the contrary, if you make it hard for your replacement to 'fill-in-your-shoes', the company will think you did not do a good job of handing-over or that you were unorganized. Expect to pay your own phone bill, even if you are in sales. There are little or perks, except the lowest level of medical insurance as required by law.
