Culture is open.data is integrated so people spend time in action rather than data crunching. KPI are standard and benchmark against countries. There are very strong synergy between not just local but cross functional and global teams. Meetings are sharp and expectations from.people are to pre align and come for solutions rather than blaming each other. Abusive and informal language is a complete NO. What I like best about the firm is the strong Diversity and inclusiveness culture, especially respect for women.

Dislikes

...es every 3 -4 years & hence everyone's focus is on short term improvements only. Compensation is decent along with decent international travel (basis your role). company really believes in health and safety and hence each foreign travel is 3x average corporate travel cost across industry, due to which the budgets allocated aren't enough for international travel.

I think Shell is one of the best company in the world where you can upskill and improve yourself in every aspect. Company work culture and Policy for employee is very attractive. They really care for employee wellbeing and here Policy is not only on Paper. There is good work life balance in this company.

Dislikes

Salary structure they can improve. But they are giving good as per Market standard. But they can pay good salary to employees who deserve.

...tly if continuous re-organisation happens and time taken for reorg is that long. Potential salary decrease for indian employees by salary restructuring exercise, this is very unique seeing the inflation in india.

Hey Shell, you are not an IT company.. you don't promote New technologies, ideas.. you are just a bunch of oil and gas workers who can work in excel

Either don't take contractors at all or just don't sacrifice them in the name of cost cutting

Promotion and growth can be tough depending on at what level you enter the organization and pay scale. If you are recruited close to max pay grade limit for that position then you will be stuck there as promotion may take more than 4 years in certain teams. Strong budget cuts in learning & development for individuals in recent years. Highly unlikely for site visits, again due to budget cuts
