The company is in very bad shape. Its policies are very strange too. Adhocisim is very likely to manage, hence every assignment comes as a surprise to work upon. In short, there is nothing as good as it needs to mention this.

Dislikes

The salary compensation structure is not correct since the employee does not have a view of getting this on time too. Work pressure is too high and there is a mismatch in the authority responsibility matrix. Even a CFO has no power to protect somebody.

Likes

Office was centrally located in Gurgaon. Now even that’s gone with it moving to Mumbai leaving employees to look for a job suddenly.

Dislikes

...performers. Ratings are given basis number of hours and not as per productivity. Bad pay master to employees (random pay cuts), vendors, lots of bad debts and legal cases that never end. If you are good at your work, love your family and respect yourself, avoid working at this junkyard. It’s a graveyard for your skill sets, self love and knowledge. Continuously running on losses, won’t be long before they shut down. They made a mess out of one of the best and oldest heritage paint company.

HR policies such as travel booking and other expenses.

Dislikes

...hey will treat you as an all mighty god but after 1 week no any support from HR. Worst employee management handled by HR, HR only take salary at the month end and enjoy. No any work on attrition rate. One of the oldest paint industry but in terms of total wealth its like a newest paint industry. Think twice before joining.

Great Company to work with, Regular expenses , salary and incentives.

Dislikes

Hierarchy should aware of ground level schemes and benifit competition given. Nerolac culture implementation in Shalimar won't work.

... very supportive and management is transparent. Work life balance is quite good. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike every year. Overall it is vary nice experience working with Shalimar Paints.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about Shalimar Paints, but they need to focus on certain areas like infrastructure and canteen facility at plants.
