Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

- The company has not hd any projects that have gone "Live" in the past 5 years. We suggest you check the company portfolio for further details. - It seems that the company, "Lala Company," is only interested in benefiting itself and is mainly focused on tax-saving benefits. - The company changes its team every 2 years and terminates the current employees. If you are already employed, we advise you not to consider joining this company. We were three individuals who left our respective companies to join this company, only to be fired later on. The management seems to lack direction, so we caution you to be wary of this kind of company. Please take the time to review the company's past records, especially in regards to the points mentioned above. We have also heard that the company has recently forced current employees to add positive reviews, so please keep this in mind.
