Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Companies working culture and any time support from head office provides smooth and easy working atmosphere for us. Report preparation style also provides a good command over that how to present reports in a professional way and understand the importance of working papers.

Dislikes

Companies commands over deployment of site engineers are not up to date so that an individual engineers able to do the task of sites but not allowed to do the same. Company is very good in pays consideration at full, there will be an encouragement for us if Company considers the timing schedule of pays.
