Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Colleagues are good. Work environment is good.

Dislikes

Salary is not on time. Management is not good. They don't think about their Faculties hence constant staff is not here. Zero job security. No increment at all. 8 9 months salary lack is common.

Everything here is just shit No salary to staff No proper placements of students Nothing new Canteen with limited food list What else can I say One of the worst college in Mumbai
