...ndemic. Very Few perks when compared to top tech companies. No growth by skills. Huge compensation parity with IIT and NonIIT in the same level. Zero Normalization. Credits stolen by Incompetent Managers. Top heavy organization (surplus managers-few engineers) Politics at its best. Monarchy is followed. Software Engineering team (testing&devops) works like clerical support to development. No transparency in policy.

Transport : (But the Team leader ensure that you come at 8:15AM using office bus and leave late after 12 Working hours. Cabs are provide to those employes only who have worked for 11hrs in office on that day.) Food: (But now It's quantity/quality decreases due to low budget) Other Things are worst here.

Dislikes

...salary to IIT college as compare to NIT or IIIT or others for same wok and post. Salary hike is only 5-6%. Overall salary is less than the industry level(Donot see the CTC). Also behave in good manager with iitians as compare to others. ------- 6. Firing: They fire 10-20% employess every year and threat other if they do not support for 12hrs in offce. Recently they fires 20% employess through mass firing. Hence, no job security. ------ Still if you to join unmanaged company for money and make your life hell, Then, It's your choose.

Teams are small , better for collaboaration. Work life balance is good. Mostly not hectic. Food is good

salary is low compared to other MNC. Slow learning. As it is a R&D organization, you might find the software development type of work is less, though it highly depends on the project

Do not confuse between Samsung and Samsung R&D (the former will have better ratings/reviews on glassdoor/ambitionbox as it is purely sales/marketing/corporate/operations/manufacturing. The engineering is under Research (SRI-Bangalore/Noida) Brand Name Free and variety of good food Initial Hike while onboarding Top Management Job security Princely treatment for a month just before SCI(samsung culture index survey) which impacts line managers/leads If you stay here for 5y+ then be sure to retire here because no other company would hire you dumbs. Hence people completing 10/15/20 glorious years

...nt have any IT/Programming/People skills but surviving somehow with Excel/ppt 7. IIT/NIT recruits and Regulars have huge pay parity at same level. Even then IIT/NITians leave within 2-3yrs span bcz of declining growth. 8. Substandard development 9. Only focus on long approval/workflow security processes 10. Politics at its best 11. All achievements like best employers is for Samsung Research America/Canada dont be fooled thinking its India because they promote it that way.

... since a long time promote favouritism without having any technical knowledge 4. Low compensation, even lower than most Indian startups and SSIR. Forget FAANG! 5. High attrition for good engineers 6. Crazy security protocols, lot more than any FAANG. You will feel that you are writing some code for the CIA, when the actual code some PoC and testing! 7. Never confuse SRIB with Samsung. There's hell lot of difference in work, culture and compensation between SRIB and Samsung Korea/US. You would be highly disappointed if you join SRIB considering the brand name of Samsung. 8. Worst quality laptops are given to employees 9. No idea why everyone considers Samsung HQ and Korean as the godfather. Even this type of weird culture is absent in Google or Amazon India.
