Job security exist. Good learning program exist.

Dislikes

.... Crazy differentiation between IIT and non IIT an. No appreciation for efforts. Biggggg difference in salary between IIT and non IIT professionals. Non employee friendly environment. Restrictions on taking laptop to out of office even during COVID times. Huge restrictions on accessing websites. Everything is through disorganised workflows. Workwise : Huge politics. Inefficient and incapable leads(don't know how to code) leading the team. Doesn't have any idea on the working and discourages openly when suggested ideas. SRIB should take action on this. Heavy Korean driven projects resulting in scrapping of many projects. Maintainence work happening.

Feels like a government job. You can just draw salary from this company. There is no new work so you can easily come to the office and chill.

There is nothing to like about this company specially in the operations department. The management is the worst they do not give a damn about you and your growth. No benefits until you butter the manager. People who work here are more concerned about other people’s work, if they are doing good instead of improving they start bitching about that person. No growth. Boring work.

Teams are small , better for collaboaration. Work life balance is good. Mostly not hectic. Food is good

Dislikes

salary is low compared to other MNC. Slow learning. As it is a R&D organization, you might find the software development type of work is less, though it highly depends on the project

Management doesn't give a damn what you are working on. If yku raise your concerns they get angry and stsrt grudging against you. Management is very casual as well and they think they are gods here. Work culture isn't good. Bootlickers excel. No career development as well. If somebody is ambitious I suggest not to stay for more than 2 to 3 years. Process is very very slow from advertising perspective they are using outdated tools as well.

Do not confuse between Samsung and Samsung R&D (the former will have better ratings/reviews on glassdoor/ambitionbox as it is purely sales/marketing/corporate/operations/manufacturing. The engineering is under Research (SRI-Bangalore/Noida) Brand Name Free and variety of good food Initial Hike while onboarding Top Management Job security Princely treatment for a month just before SCI(samsung culture index survey) which impacts line managers/leads If you stay here for 5y+ then be sure to retire here because no other company would hire you dumbs. Hence people completing 10/15/20 glorious years

...nt have any IT/Programming/People skills but surviving somehow with Excel/ppt 7. IIT/NIT recruits and Regulars have huge pay parity at same level. Even then IIT/NITians leave within 2-3yrs span bcz of declining growth. 8. Substandard development 9. Only focus on long approval/workflow security processes 10. Politics at its best 11. All achievements like best employers is for Samsung Research America/Canada dont be fooled thinking its India because they promote it that way.
