Dislikes

Unhealthy work ambiance with backstabbing and egoistic head of the department with unethical means of recording the conversations of peers to play it with the Management to immediately terminate employees without paying them with the last month's salary. Use of abusive words against the students and parents within a closed Department head chamber and threatening the stakeholders with lab marks.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
