On time salary, pretty looking office, fun-room

"Micro-management" by the manager of service divison tops the list. here are others: 1. Manager is an arrogant person who only talks to employees(other than HR/Project mangers) when he either wants to cancel your leaves/fire you. 2. HR dept is a joke, the head treats all employees other than PMs and mangers as lowly lives. They call themselves as open door culture, and the HR room has a note on their door "Don't enter without knocking/asking permission". 3. There are policies in place but only to cater mgt's interest. The policies can change at any point without informing employees to bend them even more to make employee helpless. 4. You get sufficient leaves , but can't take them! even if you're sick! you're doubted and looked down upon if you take one. You're judged at time of appraisal for taking leave even when you have plenty in your balance! 5. They have started giving monthly rating just to make employees feel bad about themselves and keep shut when time of appraisal comes. they give max of 3/5 to an excellent over-achiever employee too! and as soon as they take a leave, that is reduced by .5 for the next month for not being dedicated enough. 6. They literally frown upon the time you take for washroom breaks. they now allow 1 hour break out of mandatory 9 hour work time. This 1 hour includes lunch, tea, washroom breaks , even bday celebrations.. basically every second out of your seat is counted as break. 7. Hire and fire: they hired one person a year ago to fire people. He fired roughly 15-20 people in span of 3 months. And then when they were done with him, he got fired too!. 8. notice period of 2 months works only one way. If you resign and want to leave ASAP, you must serve 2 months! But if they fire, you have to leave immediately without any notice or severance package! FYI, it isn't even mentioned in their joining letter/policies. 9. Appraisals can range from 0-4% for 70% of employees, 5-8% for 20% employees, and 10% for highest rated.

Friendly nature of colleagues, got salary on time.

Dislikes

There is no job security, no overtime pay (even if they ask you to work after regular hours), no employee insurance, and you will have to work even if you are sick. There is no reimbursement if you are going home late at night from a cab. Some days you will have to work for 36 hours straight. And the manager will be like, 'We work only 3 months' (only he does, we have to work full year).

An okay place for freshers. Actually they hire mostly freshers. You get your salary on time.

Dislikes

The list is quite long but I’ll try to keep it as short as possible. The work culture is a bit weird. HR keeps making different policies every other day and these so called ‘company’ policies are different for everyone. No clear communication from the HR’s side ever. Appraisals and Incentives are poor. No scope of upskilling, what so ever. Few people in the top management run the company as per their whims and fancies. No centralised work culture. Also, they would promise you a lot and deliver absolutely zero. I won’t recommend this company to anyone.

... that are not comprehensible. 5. Doesn't promote upskilling of the employees 6. Very less pay compared to other organizations in the segment 7. No proper way to give feedback for the projects or work delivered. 8. HRs are also not professional. Lack skills, corporate etiquette and friendly attitude towards other. 9. Doesn't respect commitments given in the offer letter or at the time of joining. Example: Don't take their word if they say the job is permanent WFH. Because they have tricked all the people in my team with that and later forced the people to come to office and made them resign on different incomprehensible grounds.
