Advice for Career- New Offer vs current organisation
I got an offer from Shell, Chennai with a hike of approx 40%. But the current organisation offers the same CTC. Suggest, what should I do? The profile is completely changed from maintenance to Reliability. Should i change my home town state and join shell chennai or stay in the same organisation by accepting Hike? Current Organisation: Benefit: More savings, Near to Home town, will get promotion in 2 years, Disadvantages: More stress and Load. Working from long( 10 years) Shell Chennai: Benefit: No stress, less Work, Hibrid job and flexible time. Disadvantages: Location, language, Food( May be). Please suggest what should I do? Should I accept new offer and change job?

Work culture varies a lot across different teams work pressure varies from low to quite high, compensation is not good. Learning is also based on different teams. Fewer chances of growth but good job security and campus is nice.

The company is very reputed in Refinery and Petrochemical products. I had served in RIL for about 16 years and retired on 31 st January , 2018. Worked in open atmosphere, helding full responsibilities handling various small projects execution.Working culture is friendly , but manpower is very less for jobs and hence one has to overstay almost all days.
