Somewhat favouritism works here and there and based on who your manager is and what kind of a person he/she would make your life easier if you are a hard worker. I have personally experienced favouritism but unsure how other teams are doing.

I had to leave the job amidst COVID due to family situation and knowing the need I have for my salary, they never paid me my last month salary and I worked them my last month there for free. They make employees work 10 hrs in a day and the management is simply rubbish but this is only in us it recruitment section

I haven't seen these many politics anywhere , politics are too notch , if you see if you are close to manager and help them surely you will have some good perks of that , but if you do the same here you will get double promotion even if you don't have communication skills no process knowledge , if we complain to higher management,they all are in the same bucket ,it falls again on us and then we would have to leave the company
