Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The. Company is old but according to me working atmosphere is not their...I was the first and only merchandiser appointed by them and they actually do not know about merchadiser profile.So most of the time I sit idle and sometimes get involved by them in those things which are not related to my job profile.Actually it is not their fault but in real in that factory their no need of a merchandiser .Also there are no holidays even on sundays
