It is a wonderful feeling to work for the benefits of the marginalized communities. Working in CFEL, Rajiv Gandhi University not only helped us grow professionally and learned skills of working in a team but also made us feel proud of ourselves for working for the benefits of marginalized communities of Arunachal Pradesh by documenting their endangered languages and cultures and bringing out valuable tangible outputs for the studied communities.

Dislikes

The Centre is no longer functional. It is one of the UGC-sponsored Centres which is no longer supported by UGC and there is no provision to established it as a permanent centre.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
