Salary and other benefits are good only for engineering team.

They will use the people and throw out unless you are in good book with director or VP level. Everything is politics. Womenism - if your manager is women then your life becomes hell. They don't give respect

...and QC doesn't easily let go of any employee. So, some people are enjoying Govt. job like job satisfaction with much better pay. HR needs to do a much better job in bringing the right talent to the hiring managers and also, in organising employee engagement activities.

Good pay. Work gives satisfaction but at the same time it gets too hectic( believe me engineers have to stay in office till midnight also if the work is not complete)

Managers micro manage team members and there is a lot of politics involved in work assignment and appraisals. The complaints don't get heard even at higher levels due to politics(since managers and above have been there for around 15 years together so basically you cannot complain about any issue as higher management people have worked together for a long time). Not so open work culture overall.

If you are lucky enough to get work related to your interest, only then you can enjoy the work here and feel satisfied. You will find smart people to work with but only at Engineer and senior Engineer level. Most of them leave after that since they realize that most of the folks at higher levels seriously lack the required skills and talent.

... skills on top of being terrible at management. All they do is cry, cry and cry. Salary is way below market level and on top of which they will find roundabout ways to deduct the salary. ex. they will give you low rating (specially for new joiners) and deduct 50% of your bonus and Stocks right away. A lot of boot-licking is expected. How much you can pamper your manager determines your growth. So Sycophancy is the most desired skill here. They don't care about your technical skills and background. They will give you some random work depending on the Manager's wish. The company executives do not have any technical knowledge of the system and they make the decisions based on only immediate need without any consideration for future business and prospects. The code is a complete mess. Multiple branches for each chipset causes too much of maintenance nightmare and they will make you stay nights just to be tangled in those branches. Don't even talk about testing and code review. Company boasts about many employee friendly policies but they have a different face inside. For ex. you will be entitled to many leaves every year, but you won't be able to use them at all. If you take leaves, your annual review will be impacted. So most of the leaves are just wasted at the end of the year.

Very high pressure even for freshers, no proper training, they expect you understand by yourself, many people left due to this. No proper training materials, no focus on team building, no focus on empowering new people. Even seniors work till 9 pm , reqwuired at least 3-4 years to know the basics. Worst food So much high pressure that u literraly cry 2 years bond on joining bonus They make you feel you are the stupidiest person on planet. 15-18 years experience guy wants a guy who joined 6 months back to work like superman. They dont teach you anything, you have to figure out by yourself. This is the worst company to work for Work is so much that some days i get back pain and i got fever. If you want to feel this come here, and start writing worst review than this. I never seen any freshers who dont want to leave this company. Work per head is very very high. They make you feel incompetent because you dont know something, How the sm1 will know if you dont teach them or ramp up them Managers dont care about ramp up, they think you will figure out, Their ignorance towards you is your greatest frustratation. And yes i am from top 10 engg institute of the country, you can figure out that well. Please talk to people before joining especially who joined 1-2 years back they will tell you reality and the frustratation
