Qualcomm has excellent salary structure Good benefits compare the any other company RSU's, Medical Insurance to employee & Parents. Free food and transportation facility.

Dislikes

Salary & benefits are other side but employee should not feel over stressed. Every company has high volume work but they have structure/Work ethics/Professionalism and team to divide work but the kind of work culture Qualcomm has it leads to health issues in the near future. They don't have a structure to divide & assign work, managers will not take stand, they will dump everything on you.. Completely biased in culture!! No professional ethics, employees working day and night, even sat/sun people work. If you want to stress out your life, work for 24/7 then join Qualcomm No peace of mind which is very imp in life.

Working on Technical things, non-technical is very less.

...in, not much scope for wider growth 4. Upper management sounds non-technical 5. Pay is average and not as per experience 6. Groupism and favoritism across team 7. No clear direction for promo 8. No appreciation

They will use the people and throw out unless you are in good book with director or VP level. Everything is politics. Womenism - if your manager is women then your life becomes hell. They don't give respect

Good salaries Manageable work life balance (depends on the team though) Great job security (in Qualcomm India) Good culture Meals and cabs available Quite a big gym in the campus

...and QC doesn't easily let go of any employee. So, some people are enjoying Govt. job like job satisfaction with much better pay. HR needs to do a much better job in bringing the right talent to the hiring managers and also, in organising employee engagement activities.

Good pay. Work gives satisfaction but at the same time it gets too hectic( believe me engineers have to stay in office till midnight also if the work is not complete)

Dislikes

Managers micro manage team members and there is a lot of politics involved in work assignment and appraisals. The complaints don't get heard even at higher levels due to politics(since managers and above have been there for around 15 years together so basically you cannot complain about any issue as higher management people have worked together for a long time). Not so open work culture overall.
