...ees only action against complaint. Although work culture is same of all banks. Salary are not as per our duties performed compared to other govt departments. They are earnings more with less responsibilities,and we less payment with more responsibility. Management is having a upper hand on field staff. There is much to write but I think this is sufficient to know the views.

There exist always workmen and officers union in banks so staff of different unions always have difference of opinion, Training criteria not known. Travel policies as per entitlement.for Learning e site is very well developed No fixed duty hours for officers. Late sitting in branches is a culture. Bossism exist.yesman ship exist.

Likes

It is a PSU bank. The salary structure is as per wage settlement ever five year on industry level. Appraisal system is alright. Work environment is so so. training and learning is good.

Dislikes

Compensation is satisfactory. There is work pressure while working in branches. There are targets to achieve. Though timing is not on the higher side but sometimes to sit late for two/three hours but manageable.

Likes

Friendly atmosphere with average training facilities, secured job, average salary structure. Learent computer knowledge of banking. Busy schedule of work and with less innovative ideas.

Dislikes

Today banking job is harder than past. Staff relation was previously friendly than now.

Training facility is good. And you get good learning opportunity.

Dislikes

Salary is as per system. Appraisal is often biased. Innovation is punished. Work life balance is very bad. It doesn't matter if you don't work honestly during 10-5 but if you sit late till 8/9, you are branded as a devoted worker.

No matter what you do your salary will remain same.

Dislikes

Frequent transfers to remote villages create hell lot of family problems and other problems as well. Banking sector has hell lot of corruption and you will feel very insecure if you are moral.
