Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

The shift time was good, though I supported UK teams, I used to work in 9AM to 6PM shift only. That made me comfortable throughout my experience and you can make good friends.

Dislikes

There are no learning opportunities at all and all the teams are occupied with a lot of work, there will not be any back up as such if someone goes on a leave. You only end up working a lot all the time. No company sponsored team dinners/lunches, and you rarely talk to other teams, as a result, you wouldn't understand what all the other teams are doing. They will celebrate the annual day at a resort where awards will be given to best performers, that's the best part of all.
