Managers favouritism makes working environment and culture worst. I am at PPDS site Ahmedabad since last ૩ years, and witnessing the biasness in promotion, annual appraisal and day to day work distribution to fellow. Some people sit whole the day and make PPT of 4-5 slides, while some are loaded with extreme work burden by manager.

Likes

Company has a good work culture. Supporting team members. Good learning for freshers. Work-life balance is ok. 2nd, 4th and 5th Sat off. Food facilities and mediclaim facilities is there like other companies. Timely social activities has been arranged.

Dislikes

Poor clarity of responsibility above band 1 level. Local FTEs are more productive and have poor salary structure compare to outside Gujarat people. sometimes internal people get demotivated because high salary difference. Many Instruments are old and life is about to end. Few labs are empty and not is use. Many times shift culture is not suitable for many of the teammates.

Salary and appraisals, repetitive work, intolerable if manager is toxic,

1. Upper management has no clue about the on going processes. 2. No particular system in place. 3. Office politics 4. Company fixated to old views and ideas, don't allow to present new ideas or thinking out of box. 5. Very poor treatment to the ground staff by some managers.

Good in induction, good in work balance, transperent

Dislikes

Limited scope for position improvement, bonus cutting from employees package and it may given or may not given, because depend upon company target. Increment between 8% to 10% majorly.
