Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

First few months they’ll treat you good but later will show the evilness. There is no direction structure. Analyst are made to do sales call, sales people are made to do accounting work. Please take time to find a good place, you will make your life’s biggest mistake by joining here.

Dislikes

...ime they will treat you so miserably that you will leave the company eventually. Their employee turnover is highest during appraisal time since they want to make you leave rather than paying higher salary. People literally cried as they were made to work on Sunday’s and public holidays and if not done, they are abused in front of the whole team.
