Parker outsource employment to BTA which is a consulting company. BTA employee policy is not encouraging in terms of salary hike and compensations.

Bull shit , waste of time and pathetic management..

Dislikes

People who are on Parker Payroll behave as if they are king and kick anyone without fault instantly.in close politics game with HR-Dept. No Job security at all even if you work for 16-hours a day instead of 8-hours a day, cos they will hire on contract by giving Lollypop that they will absorb you on Parker payroll in 6-months which is fake and false commitment. All of sudden in 5-month you will be informed by HR that they decided to let you go without giving any reason even though you work hard and brough result from 48% to 90% , above all salary issue they commit 1-month pay as notice period which they didn't pay so you will be bouncing back in-between contractor & Parker. very pathetic experience and no sympathetic at all even after my daughter passes away, they keep on pinching your last day. they Hire when needed & Fire when they feel not needed. waste of time and career. many more post to follow on social media. Parker corporate policy is good but the location wise politics and partiality is very high

Dislikes

Office politics favouritism is very high, groupism growth is nil and professional training’s are given only to the preferred candidates. It’s person driven system and not system driven.

The company has a very good work life balance culture, employees are friendly to interact and respect each other irrespective of different background. The company has been investing a lot into acquisition and into plant & property. Good opportunity for people seeking opportunity in operations and engineering. The company has four manufacturing locations in India in all metro cities like Mumbai (Navi -Mumbai), Chennai, Hyderabad and Nagpur. The company is known for its strong brand equity and is one of the most valued brand in the field of motion and control technology. Parker has a strong footprint in market such as construction capital goods, Mining equipments and defence. It had a flat organisation structure until I was working and changes have been made after the appointment of new Asia Pacific President. Overall, the experience is good working with the company and is recommended for people who are willing to have stable life and are not willing to have substantial growth in their careers. The company also has started education assistance such as short term certification courses which are relevant to the job profile and education expenses are reimbursed up to one lacs only. To sum up, a great MNC US based company to work and to have an opportunity to work with some of the top clients in the field of engineering and technology.

HR in the company is horrible. One lady in the department from the Mumbai, HQ has created a havoc in the company and is been spoiling the whole pool of good employees who claims as the Talent and organisation development manager. Sales incentive policy is not that attractive, targets are just messy, and not convincing without any planning. Appraisal in the company is a joke !. You can expect to have yearly appraisal for 6 to 8 percent if you placed in the achieving category which most of the employees fall, although the company has outstanding category, in last 6 years of work experience of my I've not seen a single candidate making to this. Commuting to Parker office in Navi Mumbai, MIDC is a hurdle for people travelling from Mumbai, though the company does provide free transport but for selected locations like Thane, Badlapur, Kalyan and Vashi. If you miss any of this bus, you might feel stuck like in desert waiting for your luck that anyone from the office out of courtesy might drop to the nearby local station. There is not local transport available outside the office. Food in the canteen is horrible, they get it from the local caterers because they do not have cooking license, so apart from the lunch you do not have any other options to eat in the office hours and there is neither a food restaurant nearby the office premises. Favouritism is seen in the company and for growth and for international exposures where product training is part of the profile, employees have to be in the favourite list of the management. The same applies for your appraisals. Growth in the company is negligible and not recommended for people in their early age group from 21 to 30.
