Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Management is good, until company produces 2nd low quality, it was very good. So many SKU has produced in one roof, which is 2nd company in India. Directors are friendly nature. I was very happy with this company.

Dislikes

If company want a person who work total Bengal (Retail, wholesale & Institutions) with separate SS, that is wrong. So that I left.
