Product team is filled with business folks who are puppets of business teams. Focus is on pleasing seniors instead of asking and doing right things. Incompetent managers across the board will just micromanage and on asking questions will say things like It’s above your pay grade. Oyo laid people for like 3 times. Product vision is not at all clear they just here to make money by rolling hotel owners and giving low standard services to customers. Too much politics among the teams for visibility. Unnecessary pressure for presenting in large groups w/o any need for that. Non sense processes like BRP etc where you present some random quarter plan and hardly adhere to it. You will learn how to navigate hierarchies, but not sure you will learn anything about product thinking, vision, strategy etc. Place is filled ex McKinsey and consultants who think they can do everything and all that they do is putting up slides PPTs without producing and real work. This place is for Yes men and who want to jeopardise their health, mental health, family time and job security. Worst place to ever work. Though you will find contrary reviews. Please mind you I left the org before layoffs happened in a matter of less than a year just because I don’t want to work at such superficial place, where you have to pretend to like the work, environment and incompetent managers.

Only thing that I liked the most working at OYO is that you are surrounded by meritorious and passionate people with topnotch academic pedigree that challenges you continually for performing better.

...es. Career growth - Nothing significant. Not driven by meritocratic culture. Salary - Complete disparity in salary even for the people on same role Learning - If you are street smart, you are likely to do well. However, growth depends upon your academic pedigree. Work life balance - None

the upper management team seating there for ages .. and their roots are so much interconnected so that they hardly care about their self included malpractices.. and frontliners used to suffer coz they need to burn their pockets to meet company's expectations. there is no organic sale in this co .. whichever sales is showing its totally fabricated.. Hub heads , region heads .. operation personel .. MM CEO all are incorporated in this Nexus..

No work Life balance. Too much travel and work. Work start at 9 AM but there is no time for ending. They can call you anytime. You have to work on Sunday also. Multiple approval required for leave. And the worst thing is Office Politics.

Those who all are booking the rooms on walking they are hiding that much of customer to get money personally Business head santhosh cheating company & Clients He have seperate team to cheat and add more in room bookings to hide company side and clients side he doing some business in the name of oyo
