Right after the interview once you are selected you will be asked to fill a lengthy form and that too the HR will be correcting over and over even for the silliest of mistakes. There is no training that will be provided apart from two to three 1 hr teams meeting even when there is so many things to learn and so many jargons. The role would require you to visit properties listed with Oyo convince them to give the commission of Oyo for their converted bookings, The role is oriented toward collection job than to sales. The company lacks basic ethics in business, there are so many hidden charges that are levied upon the property owners and the reconciliation system is hard to understand (Even for someone who spent more than 3 yr working for the same role). lets talk about the unethical business practices of Oyo - - The take rate of Oyo is 34 % (Which is almost 30% higher than competitors) also apart from that they will be charging additional 12% if the owner does not have GST which sums up to 46 % (This seems unethical but not sure ) - For each Booking they charge Rs. 40 from the owner's pocket for insurance which is around 4-5%, So the total taken by Oyo till date is around 50% - Also there are 5 different penalties that are charged to the owners i.e 1 - Check in Deny penalty - for example a booking was received for rs 1500 and the hotel owner denies to provide check in and once Oyo finds this out they will be charging the entire 1500 rs as a penalty. Also there's a catch here - Even if the owner requests to mark his property on soldout and does not want to be listed on Oyo still the the property will be made live without any acknowledgement from the owner by backend team and the penalty will be applied on the owner. (Lets consider this penalty amount is 4 %) 2 - Digital Audit Penalty - If any hotelier tries to hide Oyo's booking and does not show the checkin on the app then this penalty is applied. penalty amount is 2x the commission amount. Here is the catch - The algorithm is location based but 50% of the times they aren't accurate and there is no way to reverse the penalty amount. Also even if a customer just looks for the particular property on Oyo but does not create a booking but goes to the property still Oyo will create a booking on his name and charge the hotel owner 2x penalty of commission amount. (Consider 4% P.m) 3 - Contractual Realization - Here

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.
