...o job security, they can simply fire employees anytime, without a proper notice. They would fire people just before appraisals, so that they don’t have to pay their employees. They would keep employees without the right qualifications at a management position, just because they are good at buttering.

Toxic work culture. Toxic CEO who lacks communication skills and micromanages, forcing everyone to never question him no matter what. No work life balance, going home on time (even after completing your work) is looked down upon. No perks or benefits.

1. Zero job security - they can fire you at any time without severance. Dont expect any respect or fairness here. 2. 6 days working - till late night 10 pm or later, and no one cares about your personal life or even safety whether u reached home safe or not in Gurgaon at night. 3. toxic ceo - abusive misogynistic narcissistic person who micromanages, constantly yells and makes everyone terrified to do their job. he doesnt know what he wants. he's the core reason for this hostile environment. some employees even left office in middle of the day fighting in middle of the office infront of everyone. 4. petty politics - thanks to ceo's behaviour, everyone is backstabbing each other. ppl r good but at office its a toxic mess. 5. losing focus - they raised funding to build social commerce marketplace, now betrayed sellers, fired ppl and trying to be a d2c brand ripping off zara h&m, proving pathetic product & no service. 6. burning investor money like theres no tomorrow, scamming them. their accounts are a total sham and its a matter of time before it all collapses.

I Liked the Product while joining the team but later on found out that the numbers discussed were misleading

There is nothing to be liked about in this startup. I can't say anything about the Co-founders in the tech side of things but I can tell you that Co-founders in the business side have no execution level experience since they belong to Consultancy background. So, they mostly create documents of strategies, good looking PPTs but do not have any sort of Hands-On experience or expertise which according to me is quite necessary as a Founder. Date that was discussed in interviews or onboarding is VERY misleading as lot of these Sellers are placing orders themselves by creating new ids to convert the discount amount into Profit, which is inflating the number of new buyers acquired organically (Don't Know how relevant it will be at that time but do check the basics) Most of the employees on the business side aren't doing what they were hired to do or is part of their core skill set. The CEO of the startup has a habit of showing Temper Tantrums every alternate day of the week and has such poor conversational skills with the habit of gaslighting and shouting at employees, which is why everyone is a bit scared while having a conversation with him and never corrects him. Micro-management is part of their culture. Every Employee in the business side is looking for a better opportunity outside because of the culture of the workplace, which speaks volumes itself.
