Bad job security, really bad work culture, lots of politics in management and very slow promotion

Dislikes

Only positive is work life balance on off season. Salary, growth are non-existent. Highest performers receive 5% appraisal. Very high on politics

The salary and benefits are good. There are amazing opportunities to learn. They have tie ups with great e-learning institutions.

Dislikes

Most of the top management sit in one part of the country. There is preferential treatment to those from that regions. There is absolutely no work life balance or assistance for women who are travelling. Men or women, they are required to travel even at late hours if needed. If not complied to their requests, they target and freeze that person out by not including them in meetings and depriving them of growth opportunities.

.... Politics has yet to find a place here. Innovatives and innovations are valued. Work life is full of energy and people are treated with respect in the market with a bonus of social respect in and around them thus fetching a good balance of quality of work and social life.

Nothing.... Career Growth not there Higher Management do not trust the Employee. They select candidates from B schools fresher & pay them high salary. work Environment is very Bad, Salary,Appraisal are Bad. Overall Very bad experience working in Oxford University Press.

I like my job as a social media executive, my manager is extremely cool and understanding and not once I have been scolded if I ever make a mistake. There is always scope of learning more and if you ask your manager they will be happy to accommodate your learning aspirations
