OPCW works under the aegis of United Nations. There are over 182 countries, the member states which have ratified the charter of OPCW. The main objective of the organisation is to make world free from the threat of chemical weapons. Majority of chemical weapon are already destroyed and sooner rather later world will be free from chemical weapon. The organisation is credited with The Nobel Peace Prize for its effort in this direction. Every task is taken on mission basis and people from 180 constitutes the work force. Mission leader and team members rotates based as per the mission. It is challenge to work with the people from 180 countries. Adequate training is provided at international level and tough tests are conducted. The jobs are carried in 180 countries involving lots of travel and interaction at high levels. Confidentiality is the password of work culture. Greater opportunities of international and diplomatic working are available.
