Oracle has customers world wide so the work that you do impacts many people. This gives a huge satisfaction as a Software Developer. The work life balance is great where 5-6 hours of solid work is enough to get you through your daily tasks. I have not heard of any layoffs in Oracle's Application Development Unit so the job security is great.

...USD in stocks and if you join as an IC2 with 1-4 years of experience, you get 0. The salary desparity is huge and as far as I have heard, the hike cycles are non existent. With regards to learning, as an Applications Developer at Oracle, you will work with Internal tools like VBS and ADF which are not widely used in the industry. These are low code tools which require good problem solving and debugging skills to master but do not require hands on coding as such. Additionally, now they have also started 5 days WFO in most of the Hyderabad teams.

...irritating and demotivating. No salary growth, no transparency in appraisals. Will hire people from outside at very high package but will not provide even a small percentage salary increment to the project people.

...iber and strengths in the new technologies and vice-versa for the idle people's. Coming to the compensation and benefits better not to expect much. Overall, Oracle is a Brand Innovative company where the success rate will be sure for both working people and company but time taking process.

The flexibility of the organization, when it comes to having certain work-life balance scenarios. You can take a bit of break here and there to manage your personal responsibilities along with work.

The promotions and hikes are far and between. You may get stuck on a particular job role and pay grade for years.

there is no any growth in the company like there are o hikes and increase in salary even if you are serving it for lot more years but is having a best working culture when we compare
