List is long The management is trying to give the minimum possible salary to the employees Sometime no hike for 3-4 years Worst company and they are always having a budget issue for the teams Switching jobs is the only option to get some good salary

Likes

Oracle is self learning,self motivated and self driven company. From learning point of view lots of sources are available to continue learning. The good part of Oracle is continuous learning and flexible work culture.

Worked for Oracle for 12 years. Best thing bis work life balance. And the worst being compensation..way below industry standard..way below even by their own set band minimum.. Training are good.. Work from home available No retention policy

Wonderful company which invests regularly in employee's career growth. Lot of Opportunities in various functions within Oracle. Work pressure is less as compared to other service based companies. For someone who's interested in learning and who's self motivated, this is the place to be. You'll have abundance of resources to educate yourself.

Dislikes

There is no regular hike cycles. If you stay here for more than 3 years, your salary will be lesser than your peers. You gotta ask for a good hike when you join, and not think about your next hike for at least a couple of years.

Flexible work hours and compensation

Compensation is decent, but work pressure and expectations are quite high. Too much of process orientation, documentation and the document links. When in need, neither the document nor anyone will be able to help you. Even if someone is aware of the process due to their long years of service they won't help you, instead wait for you to do the mistake, then highlight the mistake to take credit and get noticed by the management. No job related training either on process nor functional aspects. Organization hardly care about it's employee, their development nor support them during the tough times like Covid.
