I only dislike the compensation but when compared to other companies optum is paying much higher.

This is the safe and secure company. If u want to learn new things daily. Then Optum is a tutor. If you want to stick with a process, then Optum is a companion

......... Saturday working - During high volume, they insist us to work Saturday's. But it cost normal one day salary.... Not a double salary or neithet excess allowances.

you will have work life balance, you will have cool team, you will have work from home opportunities , good job security, work culture is good, management not bad, company policies not bad.

...lopment, HEALTH INSURANCE provided for employee is bad. low hikes. low salaries. you'll have to forget about your variable pay as they give only 20-30% of it, and it totally depends on manager for how much % he wants to give you. It's an average place to work, its just that you shouldn't expect much from it. UHG stands in top 5 in Fortune 500, yet you cant expect much from it.

No hikes... No bonus... Heavy work... Non transparent project allocation... Manipulative managers and hopeless directors... Food is worst quality in canteen... Totally a new version when compared to UHG 7 -10 years back

Management and culture is the best thing and good mentors.

Dislikes

Company is very good, but needs to also take care regarding pay and benefits to employees. In this compititive corporate sector their are many other companies which are now back in track so to grab large market it should definitely look into pay grade changes.
